Alternator not charging house batteries Allegro V10 2004

Hi all ! Although my house batteries charge fine when plugged in or running on the gen set but they do not charge from the alternator. I have verified all the solenoids and latching relay and everty...

ISTR the dash emerg uses house batt power to operate the solenoid. Assumes engine batt dead. I don't have details of the various connections, but others here will know where to look.
