What is needed is a DC-DC battery charger. They are tough to find though. They can convert high current low voltage to a 3 stage charger with high enough voltage to actually charge your house battery.

Personally, way better just to spend the money on a solar system and you don't have to worry about the tow vehicle charging anything.
