The circuit has been checked and appears to be working as designed.
At least you know what to expect. I would not change a thing unless your needs change.
I would be mounting 100 to 300+ watts solar on the roof before any alternator charging upgrades.
On edit: The recommendation in this post to have solar has nothing to do with having a generator, to eliminate a generator or to leave your generator at home.
