Yes but--when I do my annual battery capacity tests using the "20 hr rate" the batteries will last 10 hrs to get to 50% but after a few years it can take only 8 hrs to get to 50% at that same amps draw.
I have never quite solved the problem of what the real 20 hr rate is when the capacity is less and less each year. I do the tests at the original 20 hr rate.
Anyway, the whole thing is, it takes less time with lower capacity in AH to discharge or recharge, which makes sense. The idea that it would take longer to do fewer AH is counter-intuitive to say the least!
