I'd leave the brackets and/or not the 10W panel. There may be a day when you wish you had just 10W more. Maybe you can find another use for it (5V phone charger comes to mind).
Both Windy Nation and Renogy offer panels on E Bay with free shipping. You could get lucky and get someones misfits on Craigslist. There are a lot of panels in the 100W-150W range being sold. If you do dry camp and boondock almost exclusively, installing more wattage, initially, is a good idea. A guy can always use more power and you only have to wire it up once. A lot depends on how much power you would like to have. 100w will charge any single battery and I wouldn't install any less.
