According to the 12v wiring pdf from Outdoors RV, the wire from the 10W to the batts is 16 ga, don't think it would work for a much larger panel.
Some confusion here I think.
With PWM the panel's Vmp has no meaning. That is only for MPPT and then only when it is in MPPT mode (during controller "Bulk")
With the PWM, panel voltage will be the same as battery voltage plus line loss.
My 130w panel with 21.9 Voc was usually at 20.3 Voc in the sun, and with about 45 feet of #8 pair to the controller and a 3 foot pair to the batts I got the panel's rated Isc of 8.3 amps to the batts no problem. I was also able to get well over 15v battery doing equalize by-passing the controller doing "panel-direct"
OP, if the 10w panel is not in the way IMO leave it as is and save the trouble of removing it and patching holes in the roof where it was
