I would not use "stab" connectors of any kind.
I would not use extension cord material.
If using stranded wire then the ends need to be made into an appropriate size "hook" and tinned. Or get the crimp on "ends".
My inclination is to over build so I'd use #12 wire. I would use female outlets intended for 20 amp. I would buy Hubble outlets if I could find them in the size I wished to have.
My RV is Canadian built and has solid wire romex. It did come with stab connectors--but those have all be replaced. When I changed them out, some had already shown signs of failure.
I do tighten the screws in the breaker box once per year. After the initial tightening, none have been loose. But I push my wiring HARD by heating electrically--so I want to know they are tight.
