OK, this is strange.
I've disconnected the trailer from 110V.
Went out first thing this morning to checkup on the solar system,
and it was in FLOAT mode already.
But the Rogue had no log entry for last night when it was supposed to go into REST mode when the solar panels shut down. So I switched off the solars, and the Rogue then went into REST mode and put down a log entry. This new log entry looked fine. So why none for last night?
My wife points out that we had a full moon and freezing temperatures last night. Could that be enough for the Rogue to stay in FLOAT all night? The Rogue manual says it needs the solars to provide at least 200ma and 0.2V above the battery voltage to stay out of REST mode. And it's only when it goes into REST mode that it puts down a log entry.
Very strange ... think I'll be going out tonight to get a better idea as to what's going on.
