antenna lube

Question

I have the regular batwing tv antenna on my trailer and it is hard to raise and lower.  There does not appear to be anything bent so I am thinking it is just dry.  What kind of lube can I use that will not mess up the rubber roof if it drips?

On our previous trailer...there is a small "eraser" head sized plug on the base on top of the roof.Carefully remove it, spray silicone spray in there, move the antenna around and see if that helps.
