Antenna reception diminishes after initial channel search

We’ll get somewhere, turn on the television and let the program conduct an automatic channel search. Usually finds a dozen or more over the air digital channels. When you search through the channel list most every one will come in pretty strong.
Ok - More often than not, by the following day, when I grab the remote and surf the previously found channels, most if not all will now come up with ‘no signal’.
I can’t understand why this happens. The antenna booster switch/system seems to be working as it should. I realize that signal strength may vary with time of day but it seems to be something other than that. Any ideas?

Most TV stations in the US today are 24x7 baring major power fails or other system failures.

Someone sitting near the antenna (more than 10 feet away) should not affect. Someone sitting ON THE ROOF, yes.. But new arrivals in the campground may affect it.

And as I said Solar and other storm activity will affect it. So will the location of the sun in the sky.

Ah-ha! That makes perfect sense but doesn't bode well for the future then since we're currently in a deep solar minimum. When the sun ramps back up we may loose almost all TV reception, except of course for the Infomercial Channels.

Some types of solar activity IMPROVE reception.. Some interfer..

I'm not the expert on solar. Spaceweatherwoman is My degree is general science. HERS (And she has her doctorate) Is space/solar weather.
