Antithesis To Slideoutpushbuttonautostartescalator Madness

  • Indeed. We are all different. Punishment, to me is spending unending hours and dollars maintaining "unneeded" luxury items or ***hole to teakettle parking on a lot with a hundred other rigs. I remember innocently insulting cousins in Pennsylvania when I declared the Pocono mountains (picking blueberries) as not being worthy foothills. I was eight.
Thirty or so years ago I remember on an utterly deserted beach in Mexico playing around with an all-band radio. Late at night I picked up radio station KNX of Los Angeles. An immense traffic backup and "Sigalert" on some major freeway. That cured me. The radio went into a drawer. Of course I missed out on Super Bowl games. I remember some loudmouth in Playa del Carmen spoiling my effort to return to civilization and enjoy the suspense of seeing a recording..."@#$%&! Bob Griese, and those Dolphins! Again!" Thanks a lot!
I guess if you ask fifty people from all over the country the definition of "camping" you might get fifty or sixty different answers. Undoubtedly some folks get a bang out of synthesizing a Park Ave condo in a parking lot grade "Luxury" RV park.
  • "Good grief I had a blast camping at 12,000 ft in a 4 by 7 tent. No trees 10F wakeup and had to bury stuff in the snow to keep from freezing. Golden Trout fishing. For 30 years I horse packed."

Better you than me, that sounds more like punishment than enjoyment.
  • You guys got better video cards than me. Thanks for the correction.

What do you do when the elevator man is missing? Quicksilver may be 38' long and engine hidden amidships but it is narrow. Good grief I had a blast camping at 12,000 ft in a 4 by 7 tent. No trees 10F wakeup and had to bury stuff in the snow to keep from freezing. Golden Trout fishing. For 30 years I horse packed.
  • No thanks, I'll take the "Slideoutpushbuttonautostartescalator Madness", I have issues with claustrophobia.
  • Since the fridge has a K then an E followed by “LVINATOR”, I’d say the lettering looks more like it says Frigidaire.
  • Thanks Mr Wizard,

The wood sure looks like Birch. Looks like the lettering on the ice box spells

    F R I D G I D A I R E

I'll bet the owner's main comment was "This sure beats camping in a tent!"

    Jalousie window over the sink.

And zero problems in a summer of camping. No playing a victim of lazy inconveniences.
