Any help? First camper/trip issue with water heater.

Thanks in advance. Had a heck of time getting the pilot light to stay lit. Once it did finally stay lit it looked very small (smaller than a pencil eraser) which seemed odd. When I would switch from ...

Most likely dirty orfices and/or miss positioned pilot light. The pilot flame should envelop the top third of the thermocouple. The pilot assy. needs to be positioned so that the pilot flame will ignite the main burner.
