Any help? First camper/trip issue with water heater.

Thanks in advance. Had a heck of time getting the pilot light to stay lit. Once it did finally stay lit it looked very small (smaller than a pencil eraser) which seemed odd. When I would switch from ...

Even my 1987 had direct spark ignition for the fridge and water heater.


I must be missing something. The last 2 class A's we've owned had pilots for the WH. the switch to turn it on actually had to be held in the up position to light it and actually said "pilot lit" They were 2012 and 2013 respectively.
