Any one have the Champion 3500 watt inverter generator?

Yes, but with a $700 deductible, and they may or may not cover the add on Pinella remote.

Yes, I'm in the same dilemma as before. I could go to a much larger solar system rather than replacing the generator.

But the cash they will give me is much less than the replacement value. So if I go with the generator--I have less of a loss.

I've got the 3100, so far 3 seasons and not a hiccup. They sent me the high-altitude jet for no cost, just a little time on the phone. Been running that since day one, they say it's for 5000' and over, we tend to camp a lot around 4000'-8000'

Someone contacted me and asked me to update my message as to what my problem with it was. I was using it on the beach with the wind blowing around 30 miles an hour and sand got in my fuel when I had to refuel it.

Amazon has both the 3100 and 3400 Champion Inverter Generators. The 3100 is $200 less.

I wish Champion had had the 3400w inverter when I replaced the original 3500/4000 open frame. It might of had a chance of doing what I needed at altitude instead of having to get another open frame. They seem to be as dependable as the 3500/4000 and the customer service is great.

I'd be scouring all the local pawn shops looking for your stolen one.

No idea what these cost in the States, but $500 Can (about $380 US ) for a 2000 on sale seems like a good deal.

i have the 3100 inverter model
over 3000 hours on it
i did replace the 30 amp rv female outlet, last winter
it had gotten a little worn

I see the Can Tire Flyer has the 2000 going for $500 starting this Friday, so you could get two 2000s for less than one 3400 (EDIT -corrected from 3500) at its regular price there. No idea about paralleling and all that--probably not unless you invent something.
