Not worth installing IMO. I assume no phantom hidden loads because 65 watts is not much power and only 10 percent of rating.
Yeah, it is cr*p. And erratic. Sometimes it will run hundreds of watts and sometimes it won't run a heating pad (I think those are 15w?).
I thought it was me until Mex said he had the same experience with HF inverters.
Like I said, I don't need it often. Although I might want it more when I get my new (used) massive battery bank.
I do have an antique metal 300w Tripp-lite I got at a garage sale for $2, untested because of broken plug, in my projects pile. I expect I'll install both of them unless that one doesn't work.
