Any reason not to drill holes to ventilate inverter?

My suggestion, worth everything you paid for it: replace the broken plug on the Tripp-lite and deep six the HF that is not all well. It's almost like you're trying to make a Yugo into reliable transportation while ignoring a Honda in the driveway because it's missing a radiator cap.
