Why not get the 12V version?
Doesn't your rig have a stock converter (drops pedestal or generator power down to 12V) in it? If it does have a converter like most/all RVs come with, then you always have a choice to keep the tanks warm: The pads can be powered off a pedestal or off the batteries - in the rare times when you might need the tanks kept warm but aren't able to be on hookups.
