An COMPETENT electrician should be able to make any 120v repairs in your RV. Unfortunately there are many who shouldn't touch it. If the electrician tells you he can't work on your RV because it's different or has special parts then move on, he's not the guy, he's wrong.
The biggest problem electricians seem to have with RV's is looking at the 30A plug and assuming it's 240v just because it's "bigger". Don't let any electrician try to apply 240 volts to your 30 amp service.
By the way, I'm a master electrician and class A electrical contractor. I've seen too many in our industry who would be better named "wire jerker" the electrician.
