Any special credentials/training to be an RV Electricians
Our GFI quit working so we went to the local RV dealer (small town) and of course, he did not carry it.
I thought I would try Lowes and Walmart to see if they carried that brand and they did not. Walmart DID have a GE Model GFR5263. What the heck, a GFI is a GFI...right? WRONG!! After reading the instructions twice I still don't understand what they are saying.
SO!! Can most any qualified electrician (builds homes, etc.) install a GFI in an RV? I would cheerfully pay for the repair...and find out why we are suddenly popping the rocker arm switches on the control panel.
We are in South Lake Tahoe.
