grid tie microinverter, must connect to an existing utility source, no good for RV off grid, and more expensive too
i prefer parallel, mppt or PWM depends on the panels involved
with parallel you could loose a complete panel, and the rest of the system continues to work, since i seek the Shade in the summer, knowing i'm going use the genset and A/C , the solar helps out when the sun moves on the different panels, because everything is parallel
