Anyone run the generator on TT while underway?

Hot summer travel issue... I want to start the generator and turn on the AC an hour or so before reaching my overnight stop (Wal-Mart or truck stop) while on the road. Does anyone do this? Any ha...

As long as the generator is not inside the TT where it will accumulate carbon monoxide, it is fine.
