- dbblsExplorerI have them in my G rated tires. I've never had a flat yet so don't know how much of a hassle it will be. I have special valve caps to identify the tire as having the beads in them. Hopefully the tire shop can salvage them if it becomes necessary to remove the tire. Time will tell.
- tmmarExplorerI was speaking with Freightliners customer support/hotline because I was thinking of using it and was advised not to use the tire beads. They said that moisture tends to get into the tire and cause the beads to clump into a ball. I can't say if this is true or not but just passing along what I was told.
- notevenExplorer IIIThe Centramatic balancers look like a good option.
Thanks - memgroveExplorerI used Dynabeads in our former Airstream tires for 3 years before we sold it. I feel for the price it was worth it. If I were going to do it over again I would. If I could have afforded the Centramitics at the time that would have been my preferred choice though.
If you do go with the Dynabeads get one or two extra bags and extra valves and the installation bottle to keep with you in event of a tire issue on the road. - larry_cadExplorer III have used the beads and they do work but installation is a pain and a bit messy. A couple of years ago I switched to Centramatic and have been happy since.
