Luckily my damage done by a faulty wired pedestal was covered by the manufacturer.
After a long time and Thousands of dollars in repairs everything is working properly.
The best thing I did before plugging into another pedestal was to install a Progressive Industries 50 amp hard wired surge protector.
So far it has twice protected me from damage.
