Are TPMS sensors rugged enough for gentle off-roading?

I am thinking about a TPMS for my single axle trailer -- probably a good idea! But in doing the usual research, it looks to me like the sensors are sort of like little knobs that attach to the valve ...

If you have common 1 oz sensor, chance that slight off-roading will hit one are slim, but still exist.
Chances are that on rock the sensor will come out with valve.
I would take them off.
