So, in addition to fire prevention, this will keep the cooling unit performing to peak efficiency. For every post about a fire caused by a cooling unit, we see many, many about diminished performance. THIS is why I would fit one.

Then we should expect Joraz's fridge to operate much worse than it has in the past, since he hasn't had one of these and his fridge is nearly 20 years old. I'm just wondering if, in fact, his fridge is operating much less efficiently than it was when it was new. Inquiring minds want to know. :)
