God help the fool that depletes an AGM battery to 10......?¿? volts. Start out maxxed down. Twist them boo.. er... knobs counterclockwise.
If I kill that generator because it cannot handle incremental voltage increases of .01 volts, I'll slip on a dress chase a rabbit down a hole and go have tea and crumpets with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.
I mused the permutations for months before committing to a design. There are thousands. Utility, efficiency, span of operation performance, and durability all entered the picture as did the proposition of preparation connection for 24 volts 1,200 watts, and a special adapter that allows the system to plug in 240 volt plug. Ah so cholly chan, honorable triple pole on/on switch, honorable resistors, thirty volt LED gauge operation. Most reverent analog ammeter not care if voltage six or thirty six.
Brain needed workout. Breathe hard at first then like old times. Big challenge was making it all workable for son-in-law with 6th grade education. Sheetmetal work in a shop you will not believe a photo of. Fifteen hundred mile run to PO Box. one-handed cripple that has to use special seat from Nissan Maxima to avert screaming from herniated disc back pain.
So I do not even want to hear/read freaking excuses that it's too hard, or too expensive (I'm existing on a Social Security income, remember?). I need to sit all the way down on a foam mat to take hydrometer readings with one hand.
