When 1k knobs magically solder themselves in place on MegaWatt's, let's talk. Is yours installed yet and soldered in place? Neither is mine.
I don't feel comfortable roasting something on the circuit board with my Weller 75 watt soldering gun and my shaky hands and poor eyesight.
Precision soldering on minute circuit boards with tiny, in need of heat sinking before solder components, is not my forte.
