Sounds more like lack of 'flame proofing'
When main flame lights off it needs to engulf the spark electrode. This produces a milivolt signal back thru spark electrode to circuit board that 'proves' main flame lit. Circuit board then keeps voltage on gas valve holding it open.
No flame proofing......circuit board drops out DC voltage and closes gas valve.
Spark electrode position, electrode dirty/sooted up, low propane pressure, dirty burner assembly, loose/corroded contacts on connector to circuit board
