Atwood propane detector re-install
My Atwood propane detector Series 2001 died. The replacement model 36270/31014 is about 1/2" smaller (meaning the existing hole in the wall is a little large). I'm sure others have faced this proble...

I just mounted it on the top end of the old hole, the gap is really not noticeable to me at the bottom.
Now....If my rig was pristine I would get a switch plate large enough, cut it out, mount the new unit to that and then put the switch plate up over the original hole...done
