Atwood Stove Increase in BTU's?

The typical Atwood stove has one 9600btu and two 6000 btu's in the back. Is there anyway to increase the heat output of the three? Even getting the other two up to the same 9600 would be a start.

We do a lot of cooking while we're on the road - and the limiting factor of heat output makes it difficult to boil things effectively.

Most of the time, we're using a butane unit outside (and creating wind baffles around to minimize the heat loss.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

  • Have you checked output pressures from LP tank. May require RV tech to do this adjustment.
If you are hooked to shore power. A Induction burner is the fastest way to boil water.
