Atwood Water Heater Tank Crack Repair ? UPDATE

Update 11 Aug ----------- Not sure yet, but it appears a friend might need a tank repair. Can you fix that with the usual suspect car body repair stuff--fibreglass and that Bondo goop or whatever...

If the aluminum tank is cracked from being frozen, I wouldn't hesitate to have it welded. Cheap reliable fix that will last for years. Been there, done that.
