Modus Operandi
air conditioner without load support with 5 minute wait between testing phases with a run time of under one minute. To reduce surge the fan on the air conditioner was allowed to come up to speed before the compressor was started. Fan speed was set to low.

Observations. As the air conditioner continues to run wattage inside has crept up to between 1200 and 1300 watts.
Addenda after 30 minutes the wattage has crept to 1425. Input voltage is at 101.9 and inside the RV is 121 volts.
Conclusion--it may be better to not use the Magnum with the autoformer when in a campground with 30 amp or better. But where I don't have easy access to the breaker box, I'll choose to do so running at 12 amps (80% of full capacity).
