Automatic fire extinguishing systems

I had ordered one of the more common types of automatic fire systems for peace of mind with my rv fridge only to discover it wouldn't fit anywhere in the back of the fridge.
So it got sent back to where I purchased it...
So off I go searching the web for other comparable automatic fire fight products only to find everything very expensive.
Came across This product and it looks like something that might work for reasonable cost.
Anyone have other suggestions or input?
I mean, I'll probably pop for the expensive unit, one I found made for engine compartments that has a plastic tube that will burst when heated, along with a large canister of the agent that can be remotely mounted. Just curious to see what others have done.

  • I have had an auto extinguisher in the back of the fridge for several years and last year I installed an ARPrv

If it works as designed it will shut down the fridge BEFORE and overheat can start a fire. Seems like a smarter solution.

Very little technical information available ... I would not trust something designed for VW Vans, etc. to my RV protection. I placed my trust in something better such as the SSG-30 system .... https://squareup.com/market/fire-and-life-safety
