Correct. The OEM installs the Transfer Box and usually runs the Genset wire to a 4x4 box close to the Genset compartment. When you install the Genset, you just connect the output wiring from the Genset to the wires in that 4x4 electrical box and everything is automatic. Check your line voltage with a digital voltmeter. Humming can be an indication of LO line voltage and/or bad frequency(htz). The voltage/frequency should be 120/60htz. NOT dangerous, just not to spec and especially if the CG is full with everyone using there AC units. Doug
