Depends on how often/easy you want to take it off. Locktite would work, they make several different strength levels, up to needing a torch to melt the seals off. Depending on the configuration, maybe a couple of screws to hold it in place or blocking the slide track? If you don't want it to ever come off, run a bead of seal the whole length of the track, then slide in the cover. Secure with tape until dry.
