Awning Dead- Anyone know what this is (photo)

My power awning is dead (first time use- under warranty, taking it to dealer tomorrow). I have diagnosed that power is gettinh past the rocker switch, but then goes to this black "awning controller" solid state switch inside the wall. Power does not go past it out to the awning motor. Does anyone know what this does and how it can go bad?

    What make and model is the awning? Maybe the installation instructions (if you have them or can download them) would give a hint ???

    I like to diagnose my mechanical problems before I take it to camping world. This way they won't have my rv for weeks trying to "figure out" what the problem is. Been there, done that. I believe I have isolated awning power issue to this. Power goes in this thing but doesn't go out.

    Off hand it looks like a relay. They have a mechanical switch inside that can break. It's unusual for a new one to break but stuff happens
