more importantly, the little square of steel it screws into,Are you saying the "little square steel" nut is what you need? I was able to pick some up (2 to the box) at local RV dealer. It took some magic to put in. (Edit part) WOW... less than 1/2 hour has part number and pic with multiple posts.
Wish I had that type of service at RV dealer.
