Back-powering 110V system while travelling..
I know that I can, and do, use my home generator by plugging the two outlets from the genny into house outlets that are powered by different busbars in the breaker box, (after shutting off the master)...

I have been told the same thing but no one has explained why. Does not tripping the master breaker keep the current from traveling back down the line and if not how does the current manage to get by the master breaker when it is off?. Thanks.
