Bad receptacle installation by factory - potentially unsafe

I removed a receptacle in our KZ Spree TT on the weekend to replace it with a black one and what I found was disturbing as can be seen in the first photo. Let this serve as a warning to RV owners out...

My brother built and wired his own house. He used crimp sleeves on the ground wires, then filled the sleeves with solder. He was in the radio, TV and electronics business and understood the value of a better connection. The inspector made him remove every one of them. Years ago, twisting and soldering wires was OK.
