106 ampere hours discharge
121 ampere hours recharge
What is the CEF?*
Every type of battery has it's averaged CEF as expressed in decimals.
If a battery that has a CEF expressed by OEM has an excess A/H proofed by you suddenly appear via testing, what think you?
If a test on a 100 hour hour battery reveals an actual 41 amp hours extracted to 50% SOC appear, what would you think?
Do not forget a possible missing integer which may be assumed correct but actually be erroneous in an ampere hour meter. What is being overlooked?
Charge efficiency factor is nothing more than comparing percentage of overcharge need to fully recharge the accumulator. Does Peukert exponent enter the picture at different discharge to recharge rates? If yes, how does the meter compensate?
Is Peukert Ratio linear?
Try to factor in the variables. Factor in price. Ease of obtaining needed components. Factor is the degree of aptitude needed to assemble the tester. Then the degree of aptitude need to not only understand a discharge test, but to manipulate, amplify and extrapolate different configurations. By varying the load (increasing light bulbs) Peukert will eventually be seen. By varying the rate of recharge a double horizontal line can be made into an album that shows the entire charge profile and discharge capacity VARIANCE of the DUT.
*This can get fun
Do TEN regulated discharge AND recharge tests in a row
Total the numbers
Then divide by ten
