Barker VIP 3500

My Baker VIP 3500 Power jack is not working properly. It will lower the trailer just fine. When I raise the trailer it will raise for a short time then slow down to almost stoping. After a while it stops rainsing the trailer. The moter does not stop it just doesn't raise the trailer. I know it has not reached the top of its travel distance. Any ideas what could be wrong?
