If it is leaking on the vanity top rather than dripping it is most likely o-rings on the valve stems. Take it apart then head to the hardware store. Also try cleaning your aerator, if it is plugged it will create back pressure on your stem seals and possibly push water through. I love the posts that assume you have a poor quality non repairable faucet. My 2008 original equipment bath faucet is a quality piece.
Sure they are the same quality, after all trail-lite by R-vision was a quality coach builder just like Carriage. I'm sure your Carriage was an entry level, low cost, weekend grade, ultra-lite built with the lightest, thinnest materials, and full of low end commodity parts, like chromed plastic faucets, and 4MM luan as the thickest structural panel in the whole rig, right? Hum, maybe this is a bit out of your wheelhouse? As a former Trail-Lite owner, and admirer of Carriage rigs, I'm trying hard not to laugh at this.
If you built a Trail-Lite of that era to Carriage standards, and left it on the same frame and suspension, it would literally droop at the ends until the bumper drags, and the springs would collapse. Not even apples and oranges here.
