My battery is getting weak and not holding a charge as long as it should so I have been doing online searches. It seems nobody wants to show amp/hour ratings online for deep cycle batteries. :( Today I went to Walmart to actually see what was printed on the battery(s) they had. One had what, at first, seemed to be a great rating. It was 122 A/H ...... but in the small print, @1 amp draw !!!!! The standard is to show A/H at 20 amps draw. Seems like Wally World is trying to pull a fast one.

Oh yes, I found on another forum that my 8 year old 108 A/H battery was actually at the 10 amp rate so it was really closer to a 70 A/H battery @20 amps.
You are right, it can be very mis-leading. I used to get the "850N" 12v battery at WalMart (CAN) which had 850 MCA, 675CCA, 180RC, and 120AH on the label.
It did seem to have the 120 by the 20 hr rate when I tested them with my AH counter and all that, but it didn't matter, they were still (although called "27DC" ) a sort of modified starting battery and didn't like being really deep cycled.
If you want a better true deep cycle 12 that can take big time deep cycling, I would recommend a Trojan T-1275 at an actual 150 AH. It is big and heavy, and needs a proper charger on it (your converter might be too lame--I use a VEC1093DBD to keep it in shape) but it works!
