Now you're starting to see why I decided to drop the crimping idea and go with soldering, the whole crimpimg thing was just too much drama for me to deal with.
I came to the conclusion that one needs to buy the lugs and tool from one supplier and the tool would need to be a bench top crimper.......but then again there's Jeff's crimps... :@
BTW I tried to pull apart one of my solder connections, no way was it coming apart. I had to heat it again to get it to come apart.
I've had a few people comment that high current will compromise a solder connection. Well, I guess that might be true if you're using the wrong guage wire but here's where we go back to the statement of things being 'done right'.
......just my 2 cents, again.
