battery maintainer

Have 4, 6 volts batteries . Can I use 2 battery maintainers one for 2 6 volters , the other hook to the other 6 volt pair. Will that be good for alright to do?

  • I would think you could actually only use one maintainer, since the system is still 12V, despite the number of batteries in the bank. Maybe someone knows otherwise, but the bank is "maintained" the rest of the year by a single 12V feed (either engine alternator or on-board converter). Just need to have all batteries charged to begin with... Comments? ST
