Battery not charging. when plugged into shore power

My battery will only charge when coach is running. Charges up to 13.8 volts dc. when i shut coach down the battery looses it's power rapidly within a few hours. When I plug into shore power the same...

Which battery are you talking about? House or chassis?
Chassis battery does not normally charge from the converter.
House battery is fuse protected, so start by checking voltage at the converter output, then follow the cables toward the battery comparing voltages.
