Does anybody have any experience with the DEKA batteries?
DEKA brand batteries are manufactured by East Penn, the largest battery manufacturer in the US, which makes all sorts of different types and sizes of batteries. I'm installing a G31 AGM on my own trailer in a couple of weeks to replace my 10 yr old, now dead G27 flooded Interstate.
Regardless of which battery you have it shouldn't be running down with your rig in storage and the battery disconnect switch set to off. Since you say it is then there has to be something that's being fed directly by the battery ... to prevent that just physically disconnect the battery, then it
can't draw down. While some do use solar to maintain their batteries while the rig is in storage it's kinda pointless if the battery is at full capacity when you do store the rig and if you're using it again in another couple of weeks. I see it as only useful if you store with the battery already depleted or if you want to run the fridge while the rig is in storage, otherwise just disconnect the battery and be done with it.
