The relationship of charge/abs volts to temp is inverse where low temps require higher volts. On that I am sure because I am looking at the temp/volt chart from Deka.
Boiling out is not any concern to me with AGMs unless they are above 95F. Battery chemistry could be accelerated and higher volts than the standard 14.4V @ 77F might bust a valve. This won't happen to me because the temp comp recently lowered charge/abs to 13.29V when the IR gun read the batteries @ 110F.
One of the AGMs was used for three years as the starting battery in the van. I would guess it got hotter that 110F at times. The in-dash volt meter shows 14 in the center and it doesn't vary much past that except at first. That battery tested at 13.04V after a 24hr rest this past Oct and was the best of the three house batteries.
