The optimum way is to get it -all- done and over with. There is no way in hell 6 cells of fully charged, new golf car batteries is going to support a constant 100 amp load and remain viable above 10.5 volts.
A pair of group 31 AGM batteries could power a microwave for a few minutes. But then what? Rob from Peter to pay Paul for continuing hotel loads?

Suddenly a generator "Gotta Have This" pops up because of storage limitations.
Gee the generator could have done it without the need of an upgrade.
Logistical planning has to be taken beyond the first one or two steps.
