The new model is 1.5 amp vs 1.3 amp and is prettier.
The advertising says it uses high frequency pulses to desulfate the battery. AFAIK it works well. Have not had any trouble with sulfation.- About twice the milliamps of my buzzard-grade transformer wall wart so it should maintain a single battery in fine form.
One brand of these gizmos brags four stage charging but surely it must have more power than three amps? The solid state regulated chargers as do every other type of charger oscillate at either low or high frequency so it ought to naturally tickle you batteries and make them giggle. - Thanks for the link, just ordered one, and used $5 off code. The new model is 1.5 amp vs 1.3 amp and is prettier. - I have this Battery Minder Plus and have used it for several years. Be aware that there is a new Battery Minder Plus and the model that is on sale is an old version.
I do not know what the difference (improvements?) is but I am happy with the model I have. - Thank you for the correction senor beemerphile 1
I can blame this on a brain fart, old age or I can probably most correctly assign an excuse on the fact I think this gizmos are vastly overpriced which biases my short-term memory to throw itself into neutral. But nevertheless it was a mistake and I promise to be more careful. :)
